Many families looking to vacation at the Jersey Shore desire the North End of Ocean City.  This area makes sense because it consists largely of single family homes, is less touristy, and more  quaint  than other locations.  The beaches are typically quiet, open, long and wide making it feel somewhat remote.  However, the North End offers an extremely high "walk score" to the boardwalk, restaurants, coffee shops, tennis courts, ice cream parlors, and places of worship.  If you can't walk to it from the North End, you don't need it.
